    Péter Garay, Managing Director Hungary

    Péter has been Managing Director since October 2024. He is a Hungarian leader with over 10 years of cross-industry experience. He has been a key figure on the Hungarian leadership team, first as Operations Director and then as Commercial Director, for 2,5 years before stepping into his current role as Managing Director of foodora Hungary.

    Peter launched his career in management consulting with PwC and BCG, later joining Trax Retail, where he led global implementation and account management teams while driving strategic initiatives. Prior to joining foodora, he built a data science consulting business line at BlueOptima in London.

    He holds an MSc in Management and Leadership from Corvinus University of Budapest and is passionate about problem-solving and strategy. He has advised start-ups on strategy definition and growth, and taught at several business schools across Europe.
