Herbert Haas, Chief International Officer

Herbert Haas became the CIO of Delivery Hero Europe in August 2024. In this role, he focuses on country management, which involves representing local foodora markets at the regional level, promoting market cohesion, supporting local Managing Directors with strategy implementation and problem-solving, and developing a long-term vision for the business.

Previously, Herbert served as the Managing Director of foodora Austria for two years, where he worked on increasing market share and moving the business towards profitability. He also has experience with Boston Consulting Group, where he spent six years in the USA, and KPMG. Herbert started his career at his parents’ electronics store, where he learned the importance of treating every customer with equal value.

Herbert studied at the Vienna University of Economics and Business and earned his Master’s degree from the University of Virginia.
