What is foodora?
foodora is a delivery service, operating in 6 countries in Europe – Austria, Czechia, Hungary, Finland, Norway and Sweden. foodora’s mission is to deliver an amazing, fast and affordable delivery experience connecting customers with businesses and riders, giving everyone more time to pursue what matters most to them. foodora delivers a variety of products including groceries, household products and restaurant meals in 30 minutes or less. foodora is part of Delivery Hero, the world’s leading local delivery platform.

Regional leadership
Herbert Haas, Chief International Officer
Herbert Haas became the CIO of foodora in August 2024. In this role, he focuses on country management, which involves representing local foodora markets at the regional level, promoting market cohesion, supporting local Managing Directors with strategy implementation and problem-solving, and developing a long-term vision for the business.
Previously, Herbert served as the Managing Director of foodora Austria for two years, where he worked on increasing market share and moving the business towards profitability. He also has experience with Boston Consulting Group, where he spent six years in the USA, and KPMG. Herbert started his career at his parents’ electronics store, where he learned the importance of treating every customer with equal value.
Herbert studied at the Vienna University of Economics and Business and earned his Master’s degree from the UVA Darden School of Business.
