Sweden showcased unmatched efficiency in food delivery this year, setting two remarkable records. Wiggo Wraps Fridhemsplan prepped a California Wrap in an astonishing 57 seconds, marking the fastest restaurant preparation time. Adding to the achievement, a Burger King order was delivered in just 3 minutes and 40 seconds, setting the record for the fastest delivery across all foodora markets.
Hungary took the title for the highest-value order, with a single delivery totaling €2,620. This extravagant purchase included a selection of groceries, alcohol, and snacks from Italpincér, reflecting the appetite for premium and bulk shopping experiences via foodora.
Looking at Austria, loyalty took center stage with an outstanding feat by a foodora PRO customer. This devoted individual placed an incredible 954 orders over the year, highlighting a deep reliance on foodora focus on affordability and on delivering an amazing customer experience.
Pizza continued its reign as the year-round favorite, with over 3.5 million orders solidifying its position as the most popular dish. American cuisine topped the charts as the preferred choice across regions, showcasing a love for comfort and indulgence.
However, a notable trend towards healthier eating emerged, with salad orders increasing by an impressive 71% year over year. This shift reflects a growing consumer interest in balancing indulgence with mindful eating habits.
Shampoo emerged as the most ordered beauty product, while roses in mixed colors were the #1 flower choice. The quirkiest trends? Evening condom orders were the most common, and Norway embraced morning beers.
