Rodrigo Sampaio

MD and Global Co-CEO

Rodrigo Sampaio is the co-Chief Executive Officer at foodora global. He brings a wealth of experience to this position, having served as a Global Managing Director for Rocket Internet after co-founding Rocket’s operations in Latin America along with Eduardo Goes. Before coming to Rocket, Rodrigo worked in consultancy for McKinsey as an Engagement Manager, and in Finance and Strategy for DuPont and Novo Nordisk. He holds an MBA from the Harvard Business School, where he graduated with High Distinction as a Baker Scholar.

    Eduardo Goes

    MD and Global Co-CEO

    Eduardo Goes is the co-Chief Executive Officer at foodora global. Before his move to Germany, he co-founded Rocket Internet’s Latin American operations along with Sampaio and then went on to serve as a Global Managing Director, also at Rocket. Eduardo brings to his CEO position years of experience in private equity as well as management experience as CEO of Novo Nordisk Mexico. He began his career in consultancy for PricewaterhouseCoopers working in Mergers and Acquisitions before completing an Executive Program in Strategy and Organization at The Stanford Graduate School of Business.

      Julian Dames

      MD and Global CMO

      Julian Dames is Chief Marketing Officer at foodora. In this capacity, he coordinates foodora’s various marketing teams across all markets and also oversees partner relations. Previously, he worked in consultancy for Bain & Company, an experience he draws upon to make strong managerial decisions. Like Pallua, Julian is a graduate of the WHU - Otto Beisheim School of Management. There, he completed bachelor’s and master’s degrees in Strategic Management and Finance and studied abroad in Argentina and Thailand.

        Emanuel Pallua

        MD and German CEO

        Emanuel Pallua co-founded foodora and serves as its German CEO. In this role, he is responsible for foodora within Germany, its largest market. He founded the company as volo in 2014 in Munich. Previously, he was involved in the German startup scene, interning at both Rocket Internet and Allianz. Emanuel received his Master’s of Science (M.Sc.) in Business Administration and Management from WHU - Otto Beisheim School of Business in Vallendar, Germany.
